Azcothane Reo is suitable for properly primed: Concrete, cement, cement render, block work, brick, masonry, FC sheeting and CFC sheeting, plaster board and timber, plywood and particle board (if primed with Primeseal) and metal (if primed with a metal primer). Azcothane Reo may be applied to slightly damp surfaces but the product will not fully cure if the surface remains damp. This process takes longer than if the surface was allowed to dry before application. The surface must dry before the membrane can dry. Freedom from surface water, continual dampness is essential.
Duromastic ACS is a liquid applied acrylic membrane which, when reinforced and fully cured, forms a flexible waterproof lining for showers and other wet areas as described in Australian Standard AS 3740-2004 "Waterproofing of wet areas within residential buildings",and AS4858:2004 "Wet Area Membranes".It forms a waterproof lining to most building materials including reinforced concrete, cement render, water resistant plasterboard and fibre reinforced cement sheet flooring etc. The surface must be firmly fixed to manufacturers directions, free of protrusions, dirt, oil and other contaminants and surface must be dry
CLASS II for Showers, Decks, Roofs and Balconies. It is a two part liquid / cement copolymer membrane with fibrous reinforcement. It cures rapidly to form a flexible waterproof lining for showers and other wet areas as described in Australian Standard AS3740:2004 "Waterproofing wet areas within residential buildings" & complies to S4858:2004 "Wet Area Membranes". It forms a waterproof lining to most building materials including reinforced concrete, cement render, water resistant plaster board, and fibre reinforced cement sheet flooring, etc. The surface must be firmly fixed to manufacturers directions, and must be clean and dry. It is suitable for external use on light pedestrian trafficable decks, parapets and flashings. Top coat with Duromatic SR for UV resistance.
Durabit REO is a water based, latex emulsion waterproofing membrane incorporating micro fibres to provide an internally 'reinforced' waterproofing membrane. These micro fibres eliminate the need for other reinforcing fabrics. Durabit REO is an elastomeric, environmentally friendly membrane designed for both internal and external applications. It cures to form a durable, odourless, impervious, seamless membrane that resists re-emulsifying even if fully immersed in water. Durabit REO does not stain grout or tiles, is compatible with and has excellent resistance to hydrostatic pressure
Duromastic ACS Fibre
is a liquid applied co-polymer membrane containing a fibrous filament reinforcing. When fully cured itforms a flexible waterproof lining for wet areas as tested to class II Australian Standard AS:4858-2004 "Wet Area Membranes". This membrane complies to AS:3740-2004 " Waterproofing of wet areas within residential buildings". It forms a waterproof lining to most building materials including reinforced concrete, cement render, water resistant plasterboard and fibre reinforced cement sheet flooring etc. The surface must be firmly fixed to manufacturers directions, free of protrusions, dirt, oil and other contaminants and surface must be dry.
It is a single pack, liquid applied, moisture curing, self levelling, waterproofing membrane which cures to form a seamless, tough, durable, elastomeric (class 3 ) waterproofing membrane. It bonds well to most suitably primed building substrates and is suitable for above and below ground applications. Colour: Grey. Uses: It is designed to waterproof most non-exposed applications within the building and construction industry including: Tiled or Covered Areas: Shower recess & wet areas (floors and upturns), decks, balconies, terraces, podiums, retaining walls, planters & landscaped areas, structural slabs, tanks, pits and bunding areas .
Bostik Dampfix PU
One component, highly elastic, class 3, polyurethane waterproofing membrane system that contains no bitumen and complies with AS/NZ 4858. This Technical Data Sheet may be revised, as appropriate, to comply with changes to relevant Australian Standards, reflect changes in Industry best practice in waterproofing procedures or include improvements to current technologies. Bostik Dampfix PU polyurethane waterproofing membrane is specifically formulated for applications where the waterproofing membrane is to be covered by tiling systems laid on an unbonded reinforced screed to falls (ref: Guide to the Installation of Ceramic Tiles - AS3958.1). This is a 2-coat system applied over primed porous & non-porous substrates. It is not recommended as a membrane system in immersed areas (such as pools or spas)
Dampfix Gold Dampfix Gold:
One part, highly elastic, Class 3, water-based polyurethane waterproofing membrane system that meets the requirements of AS3740 by complying with AS/NZ 4858. The Bostik Dampfix Gold waterproofing membrane system is specifically formulated for application on graded substrates that provide positive falls to drainage outlets. Overlaying tiling systems must comply with Guide to the Installation of Ceramic Tiles - AS3958.1). This is a 2-coat system applied over primed porous & nonporous substrates. It is not recommended as a membrane system in immersed applications (such as pools or spas)
It is liquid applied and cures to form a durable, flexible, strong, uv resistant, odourless, seamless, and impervious waterproofing membrane. It does not re-emulsify after it has fully cured making it ideal for long-term waterproofing. It will not stain grout or tiles. Uses: Azcothane has been specifically designed for exposed, under-tile, underground and immersed waterproofing requirements included the long-term waterproofing of: Exposed concrete and metal roofs, Wet areas within buildings (shower recesses, bathrooms & laundries), Ponds & water features, Concrete and timber decks, Terraces and balconies (under tiles), Concrete slabs, Retaining walls, Planter boxes, Water retaining structures, Tiles or topped areas
a water based, latex emulsion waterproofing membrane. It has been tested by CSIRO (report 2947) and meets the criteria of AS4858:2004 Wet Area Membranes. It is an elastomeric, environmentally friendly membrane designed for both internal and external application. It cures to form a durable, odourless, impervious, seamless membrane that resists re-emulsifying after it has fully even if immersed in water. It does not stain grout or tiles and has excellent resistance to hydrostatic pressure.
Crystoflex is a two part waterproofing membrane comprising of a liquid component of selected polymers and a powder component of selected cements, fillers and aggregates. When mixed together to form a brushable or rollable slurry it provides a strong, hydrostatic pressure resistant, flexible waterproofing membrane with particular application in immersed or ponding situations. Crystoflex complies with AS/NZS 4020:2002 Testing of Products For Use In Contact With Drinking Water - Australian Water Quality Centre Report Number 4007/92.1595. Crystoflex is suitable for many waterproofing applications, and is particularly useful for areas requiring hydrostatic pressure resistance and immersed applications including water retaining structures such as concrete tanks, ponds, pools, fountains and water features. Crystoflex is suitable for contact with drinking water
