SikaTite Porous Primer
Water based, modified synthetic rubber based primer for
porous substrates
DESCRIPTION
Single component primer for use with SikaTite membrane
systems.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
12 months when stored in cool, dry and > 50oC
APPLICATION INFORMATION

Surface Preparation
-
Substrates should be structurally sound and not subject
to rising moisture
-
All dust, residues which reduce adhesion should be
removed
-
Any loose, friable material should be removed and the
substrate repaired using appropriate Sika repair material
-
Mixing: Product should be thoroughly shaken, or stirred
prior to use. Product is ready to use and should not be diluted.

Application: Product should be evenly applied using a
long nap roller (~18mm), or brush. To a clean substrate. Puddling should be
avoided.

Consumption Rate: ~ 8m2 per litre (125ml/m2 ).

Drying Time: ~ 30 minutes @ 23oC Subsequent works can
commence after this time.

Cleaning: Tools should be cleaned with water immediately
after use.

IMPORTANT NOTES
Cure times are susceptible to change based upon
atmospheric conditions.
HANDLING PRECAUTIONS

Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Wear protective gloves and eye protection during work.

If skin contact occurs, wash skin thoroughly.

If in eyes, hold eyes open, flood with warm water and
seek medical attention without delay.

Avoid contact with foodstuffs and utensils.
