is a one part, moisture curing, elastic joint sealant based on polyurethane. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. Sikaflex Construction (AP) is used as a general purpose sealant for sealing joints in building construction such as movement and construction/isolation joints around windows and doors, facades, claddings etc. brick, wood, metal and PVC sections and structures etc.
Sikaflex PRO is a one component, thixotropic, polyurethane based joint sealant. It cures under the influence of atmospheric moisture to form an elastomeric material with adhesive properties, in some cases without the need for priming of the substrate. Expansion joints in buildings and civil structures above and below ground. Construction joints. Joints in precast concrete elements. External walling and cladding joints. Infill panel joints. Curtain walling. Sanitary installations. Sealing around window and door frames. Flexible draught roofing. Sealing penetrations in walls or floors for ducts, piping etc. Retaining walls. Sealing joints in water retaining structures (water reservoirs).
is a fast curing one-component polyurethane sealant/adhesive with permanent elasticity.
As an elastic joint sealant for: Sealing joints in concrete, epoxy, stone and quarry tiled floors. Sealing joints in roofing and guttering etc. Flexible draught proofing. Containers, water tanks and silos. Excellent pick resistance for applications in shop fronts, prisons, schools, public amenities and buildings. Bolted lap joints. Sealing penetrations in walls or floors for ducts, piping, etc. Sanitary purposes. New Sikaflex 11FC will bond to well cleaned old Sikaflex 11FC. Excellent adhesion on all cement-based materials, brick, ceramics, metals, wood, polyurethane, epoxy, and some olyesters.
Fast cure rate. High durability. High abrasion resistance and tear strength. Good weathering and water resistance.
Non-sag on vertical joints up to 30 mm width. Ready for immediate use - no mixing. Non-corrosive. Can be painted over with many water, solvent and rubber-based paints (preliminary tests recommended). Certified for use in contact with potable water (AS4020-2005).
Sikaflex Tank is a one component, thixotropic, polyurethane based joint sealant. It is used in areas for storage, filling and handling of contaminated water and other liquids.
Uses: Floor and perimeter joints in areas exposed to chemicals.Facilities for storage, filling and handling of contaminated water and other liquids in filling stations, handling areas/yards, storage tanks and bunds, barrel stores.Floor joints in petrol stations.Floor and connection joints (workshops, car parks etc).Sealing joints in water retaining structures (sewerage and water treatment plants, filtration and aeration tanks).
Advantages: One-component, ready-to-use.Excellent chemical resistance to a wide variety of liquids.High mechanical resistance.High tear propagation resistance.Non-sagging.Excellent movement capacity.Non-corrosive.Movement capability 25%. Resistant to bacterial attack.
SikaBond is a high strength contact adhesive that will not slump on vertical surfaces. It can be used as a one way liquid adhesive, or a two way contact adhesive, on a variety of surfaces. Uses: SikaBond can be used on most substrates due to its excellent adhesion. These include: Floor and wall panels. Wood, plasterboard and chipboard. Aluminium, iron and steel. Concrete, cement sheeting and masonry. Advantages: One component ready to use. Fast drying time. Easy to use. High adhesion strength. Non-slump.
Sikadur 32 is a high performance bonding agent based on a 2 component solvent free epoxy resin ideally suited to a wide range of building and civil engineering applications. Sikadur-32 may be used to bond epoxy mortars, fresh cementitious concrete or mortar to a wide variety of surfaces including mineral substrates (concrete, brick, stone, mortar, GRC, fibrous cement), wood, iron and steel and cured epoxy mortars. Sikadur-32 exhibits excellent adhesion enabling it to be successfully employed in both structural and non-structural situations. Special high strength grades can be made to order.
Sika Acrylic is a flexible, one component, water based acrylic joint sealant and gap filler where low demand of elongation are required, for interior use.
Sika Acrylic is suitable for sealing low movement joints around brick, concrete, plasterboard, windows, doors, ceramic tiles and filling of cracks prior to painting. Sika Acrylic adheres to glass, wood, aluminium, brick, concrete, plasterboard, ceramic and painted surfaces.
Ready to use, moisture curing, jointing compound for paths, patios and driveways. Ensure all joints are dry and free from dirt. Do not apply if temperatures drop below 5 C within drying period. Dry mix contents of bucket by raking through to ensure all the material is loose. Do not try to break up and use any small lumps or add any extra sand. Use in small manageable amounts and avoid spreading over a large area. Sweep material into the joints making sure each joint is completely filled. If rain is expected prior to hardening, the surface must be protected to ensure a smooth finish. Sweep up any excess material, as it can be difficult to remove once set. Thoroughly soak the joints with a garden hose, set to fine spray or a watering can fitted with a rose. Do not use a pressure washer. Ensure all joints are fully saturated. Rinse any excess material from the surface. A Block Paving Fix finished surface is safe to walk
upon immediately after activation but ideally should be left to dry. Drying will usually take 1-2 days but full curing may take up to 28 days.
